Grow Paradise’s Hawaiian Eco-Adventure Retreat

Saturday, January 10th to Saturday the 17th, 2015

Big Island of Hawaii

Locally grown and wild food will be served (please inform us of any food allergies at time of registration)

Our home base in Hawaii is located in Lower Puna on the Big Island. Where we are staying is a model in green living and permaculture, the homestead is a solar-powered paradise located on the southeast coast of the island. It is also a short walk from Kalani Oceanside Retreat - the birthplace of Ecstatic Dance

All served food will be locally sourced and organically grown. Food preparations and interactive demonstrations will play a large part of the experience here.

These journeys are designed for people who wish to commune with nature, make new friends, try new foods, and explore paradise. Our intention is to show you the sustainable and magical side of the island. We will be exploring lava caves, eating from tropical food forests, whale watching, and even swimming with wild dolphins in their natural habitat. Beekeeping, organic gardening, creating rocket mass heaters, massage, coconut climbing and processing will be some of the workshops offered.

These retreats can be both physically challenging and relaxing. Guests will have the option of pushing their limits, or enjoying the slower pace of the island.  We kindly ask that you come with an open heart and mind. The atmosphere of the retreat is warm and welcoming, and we all play a role in creating that magic. Our days may often begin before sunrise, and end with stars and the moon coupled with sounds of the waves crashing against the cliffs.

These are small retreats, with typically 12-14 people in attendance.

The proceeds from these retreats will be used for permaculture projects by Grow Paradise and friends.

**The recent lava flow on the Big Island of Hawaii will have no negative effect on this retreat. The location of the property is far from the lava and we are completely safe there. Please contact us about any questions or concerns you may have.**

We would love to see you on our upcoming adventure!

The retreat location is a very short walk to stunning ocean views.
